Breath of Sarin is a metallic, hardcore band formed in 2018 by guitarist, Scott Kinnaman, (ex-Gerilla Welfare, Necrotic Disgorgement) and drummer, Anthony Heath, (ex-Zno White, Rebel Without Applause), based in Central Ohio.

Their music style is a crossover of classic hardcore with thrash and death metal influences, with lyrical themes spanning from the degradation of society, apocalyptic themes to personal and internal struggle. The best way to describe their sonic expression would be Agnostic Front and D.R.I. molested by Obituary, S.O.D. and Crowbar. The band has released two full-length albums, Vengeful Purpose in 2019 and Livid Response in 2021, and is writing new materials for their forthcoming EP to be released in 2026.

Breath of Sarin went through numerous member changes until the current lineup was solidified in 2024. Scott Kinnaman (guitar), Anthony Heath (drums), Tom Ryan (vocals), Jason Sievers (bass), and Ravi Reddy (lead guitar). Past members include Steve Martin, Devin Swank, Jay Kern, and Chris Miller. The band has played mostly in Ohio, opening for bands such as Sworn Enemy, Bloodfeast, and Venom Inc. and headlined in Milwaukee Wisconsin with New Society of Anarchists and Bray Road as direct support.
